Welcome, you will like this site. I also have been a long time Ford person. Built many Fords with the old 302 push rod motors. The only time in my life a Ford left me stranded, was. I ran out of gas with 1956 Fairlane. Back in the day gas pump nozzle's had a spring on them. I thought I had 1/4 tank. Pulled the tank and found one of those springs on the float for the level sensor...LOL. The other breakdowns were my fault, from street racing. Breaking parts that could break on any brand. Owned several Harleys since 1973. Ran them hard and never broke them or stranded me. I have been beefing up the valve train in the one I have now. With that done, I have been researching what cams I want. One of our members just sold an excellent Gen2 STA. I thought hard about it, but chose to upgrade the Harley. My '04 ST xlt is still in perfect condition and I like the size of it. Folks that see it, cant beleive it is 14yrs old. Other than that my Fords have been maintenance as any car. I have had a couple of performance chrysler products. Ford will always be my go to. Hoping Ford will bring something back Sport Trac size. I dont need a F-150.
