My truck is back in my garage with a new transmission. Total cost with sales tax was $2588.61. He said the reverse band shattered into four pieces. He also said it was amazing that the forward gears continued to work because the fragments did quite a bit of damage. I can't even feel the new transmission shift; I have to watch the tach to make sure it IS shifting.

I would be suspicious of not feeling the shifts. That can be from the line pressure too low. If so it will cause clutch slipage and wear the soft parts faster. I prefer a more solid shift. It has allowed my auto transmiissions to out last others of the same make.

I would use the project to turn up the epc pressure. or if you have a tuner get a tune from Torrie for the trans.
