Check your fuse box cover, most usually have a fuse diagram located on the back or front of it. You can also use an ohm meter to check the fuses without yanking them out and find the bad one.
 
Simple. Disconnect battery. Clip one terminal to a ground. Poke exposed metal points of fuses with other terminal.



(Most of us use a test light)

The other way is to set it to test continuity, touch one probe to each side of the fuse. If it beeps or shows continuity, the fuse is good.
 
But you have to pull the fuse, correct? you cannot ck fuses when they are in place,

are no exposed contacts.

Sure there are, right on top. In the pic below you can see them on the red fuse on either side of the '10'

Yes there are. Look closely at the fuse. I haven't pulled a fuse to check it in 5+ years.
