It's hard to comment on this. The depreciation is probably based on resale compared to MSRP. Explorers can be found for $5-$10,000 off msrp brand new. If a buyer gets the $10,000 off I can't see where he will lose more on a resale than a Prius sold at MSRP originally.



Until dealers put realistic MSRP's on their vehicles and sell for that, the numbers will always be skewed. I don't see it happening though.
 
The bottom 10 does not surprise me at all. I've owned a couple of those in the past and would never get one again with maybe the exception of an Explorer. Like Tiger said though, Explorer's are everywhere. To much resale competition. Hopefully the ST is not included since they have fairly limited sales compared to the actual Explorer.
