Yesterday, we had a VIPER 5806V 2 way LED with 1 mile range ( 
) installed. I doubt we will ever be far enough away to know if 1 mile is actual or not.
The unit comes with a 2 way fob, that also has a USB cable to keep the unit charged up, and a 1 way fob that only operates off of batteries. (I couldn't justify another $90.00 for a chargeable fob).
SO, I guess it is Merry Christmas, as that is the only thing I wanted. My wife drives it, and will certainly benefit from the use of it this winter.
