Prince George,
Hi all, not sure sure what happened to my previous message but I'd have a 2001 model and I'd like to figure out where the factory amp is located. I have a sub I'd like hooked up but I need to know where the amp is first so I can bypass it.

Thanks -Dan

Look behind rear drivers seat in the cubby.... If not then you don't have..

Todd is correct, if it exists. If yours did not come with a sub-woofer, then the amp (for the four speakers) is in the head unit and it is not powerful enough to drive a sub-woofer (it'll clip and the whole system will sound bad, and my damage the drivers).

A new, three-channel amp with a sub-woofer level control that can take a high, or speaker, level input may be the easiest solution. It will take the input from the current rear speaker output and drive the current rear speakers and the new sub-woofer.
