I tried a search on this but I cant find any pictures. Has anyone just removed the explorer badge and left the sport trac xlt on the tailgate? I dont really like the fully debadged look, but the truck isnt even really an explorer, so Id like to get rid of that part. Any pictures would be great, especially on a black trac.

Best thing to use is a hairdryer and fishing line, heat up the area with the hair dryer, but do not keep it on the same area too long or you will melt the plastic (that would be on the tail gate), use the fishing line to get under the letters and pull along the glue, each letter should be pulled up and off, afterwards, you can use Goo Gone, or Goof Off to get the last tracings of glue off the doors and tail gate.

PS.... DO NOT USE A HEAT GUN! Too much heat in those damn things.
