My 04 ST CD Player won't play a CD-R.

Anyone know what media/CDs the ST will play?:boohoo:

Never had a problem on my 04 Audiophile unit. It wasn't MP3 capable but I've since switched to an Adrenalin unit which plays MP3s and .wav files on CD-Rs just fine.

My '04 6 disc audio-phile will play CD-Rs in .wav format. Not mp3 though.

Certain decks require a CD-R to be "finalized" before they will play.

Steve, is right you have to set your burner up to finalize. Also set To play on any CD player.

OK, I'll give it a try again. I used Windows Media Player to burn the disc but don't remember it asking if I wanted to finalize or "Play on any Player".

May I suggest a different media burner? Any other media burner!!!!!!!!

Try downloading a difference codec?
