Brakedust on aluminum wheels

Anyone know how to get caked on brakedust off of non-laminated polished aluminum wheels?

There's a lot of different polishers and cleaners available for aluminum, so go check out the local auto parts store. Look for the stuff that specifically says it's for aluminum wheels...

I've got one, and my mom works at Advance...

awesome. well then I used a rim bristle brush I had after I let the rims sit with brake dust cleaner on them for about 1 minute. took some srubbing but they came off, then I polishd them with mothers aluminum rim polish, then used wheel wax to prevent this from happening again.

Larry,,,If they are not clear coated. Extreme wadding polish works great. I use to make my 5 spoke Prime wheels, on y T-Bird, look like chrome...Comes in a black plastic can..
