[QUOTE="Jeffksf B, post: 1016092, member: 65145"] So My Driver side axle seal is leaking and it was due for a new gear lube so I pulled it apart today. Watched a video about how to pull the axles out. So I removed the spider gear pin keeper bolt and it broke. And it was really weird how it broke, it didn't snap it felt like it loosened like a normal bolt. Anyhow so now I'm wondering if that pin will work out on its own. The keeper bolt is still in there with the threads engaged. I put it back together because I'm going to do a little research on it and buy the keeper bolt as well. I think it will be tricky to drill out because of clearance issues as well. Anyone have any experience with these keeper bolts. here is a video of a guy who had to weld a nut on his keeper bolt.
