[QUOTE="Axel Deneselya, post: 723359, member: 64922"] The install was not that bad since I had an alpine in there already. it is just that I had sized all the cables and wires for the old head unit, the new one made things a bit tighter, when I get the gps unit and have to take the head unit out again to add the gps antenna, I will go through all the wires and try to get a better fit. also, I am 99% sure I can make it flush and there wont be any clearance problems. this full touch screen takes a bit of getting used to. I have read the manual probably about 5 times already, I need to go through and set everything up and take notes. If you like alpine, this is a nice way to go. I had a specific need for a portable gps and in dash because I travel a bit and rent cars. It will be a nice convenience to have one unit to get familiar with and also to save trips into, and buy maps for. but if I only needed the in dash, I probably would have gone with the pioneer double din that has navigation all in one unit. it would have saved me significant money. that being said, I still have a preference for alpine and I think alpines ipod controls are probably better.
