Hi all, new here. I really hate for this to be my first post but oh well. I need a little advice on mounting my new system(s). I thought the factory radio slot was a double DIN, is this right? Anyway, my dumb self went and won 2 single DIN units, one DVD/CD player and one In-dash hide-away LCD screen on eBay...but they both don't seem to fit! Does anyone have this type of setup in thier Sport Trac? I'm thinking of getting the Dremel out and cutting up the bezel a little to squeeze it in, but anyone have any suggestions? I'm trying to save myslef too much embarrasment so I'd rather not walk into an audio store in town and have them falling out laughing at me lol.

You have to cut a little bit to get both to fit. There are a couple of members who have both installed and thats what they did. Good luck and welcome.:D

schosche makes a double din kit that will fit, it does require a little trimming on the top and bottom of the bezel but it will fit perfectly. Many members have done it, including myself comes out looking very well. I'm not sure of the part number but i'm sure you can look it up on their website.

Make sure you check and double check the scosche kit. I tried the metro kit for my two single dins and there was no way in hell it would work. As stated above you can make two singles fit but it will take a bit fo trimming.

Wow you guys are freaking awesome!! Thanks so much, I've already started on the trimming on the inner side (top/bottom) of the bezel. I'll check that link and order that mount, thanks again!!
