i saw a couple of posts regarding this, but my issue is slightly different, so hence the new post. used 4wd quite a bit over the weekend, with the snow we got here in MA. no problems ever before, but this morning as i pulled out the driveway and went to turn OFF the 4wd, it did nothing. in other words, i moved the switch from 4high to 2wd and heard no click, and the truck stayed in 4high AND the 4wd light stayed on in the dash. from what i've read, it would seem that the lack of a click means the 4wd module could be bad, but i am not sure since the light remained on. (so far every other person with a bad module said the light went off (so it appeared to be in 2wd mode) but the 4wd was still engaged. in my case, it does not disengage and knows it's not disengaged. i'm tempted to think it may be the switch. also- it does not engage 4low either. so that also leads me to believe the switch could be faulty. any suggestions? (any way to to at leat jump the switch connectors to tell it to go to 2wd?)
