255 Tires

Hey, does anyone have a 255/60/18 tire on their stock second gen limited?? I am looking at getting a pair but I am curious if anyone experiences any rubbing or anything of the sorts.

On my 07 I have 245/75/17s. I know the 255s are 10" wide but I never had an issue with my 245s. Next tire size is going to be 255/75/17s.

You shouldn't have any problems. OEM size is 235/65/18. 255/60/18 is virtually the same size tire as far as height goes. I've heard of folks going as big as 265/60/18 with no rubbing problems.

I have 265/60/18 and they don't rub with the Truxxx lift but they didn't rub before either...

So with 18" wheels how big can you go with no modifications on a 2010 limited 4x4 ?

I ran 265/65 18s on the '07 Limited factory wheels for several years. I did experience some rubbing on the rear inner fender liners when towing until I installed Rancho Quick-Lift shocks.
