2001 Sport Trac built to april? Or built from may?

I am currently trying to find the right fuel pump assembly for my 2001 Sport Trac 4wd, but before I order one, each assembly says “With 1 Tube Port, Fits vehicles up to production date 4/23/01” and the guy at the auto parts store asked me- “was it built to, or built from?” Assuming he means built to 04/23/01, or from that date onwards. I dont know the answer to this question and cant find anything online about it. Forgive my ignorance and thanks in advance.

Look at the door sticker on the drivers door frame. It has the build date. that's all he needs.
