05 won't start

    2005 4.ol won't crank or start, battery is good unhooked battery 15min ,hooked up started,next day no start.

    More info, wont start, do you mean not turning over
    or turning over and not starting.

    Nothing when you turn the key.lights are all on the dash.

    Could be a bad starter, could be a bad cable or connection at the starter or ground, Could be bad PATS system. try the second key...

    wiggle the battery wires while holding the key..

    Do the lights and radio go on. If yes clean the battery terminals and cables. If Know test the battery.

    Our gen 1 tracs don't like bad batteries. The battery might seem good, but. if it is not really up to the best. We get gremlins in the electrical systems.. It has happened to most of us. I including myself. Dropped new battery in and all was well..
    The old battery was good but not good enough.

    Pulled a few fuses waited few minutes replaced them wiggled the key when turning it and it started, next day nothing.

    I'm guessing a wiring breakdown. Maybe an the backside of the fuse box. Or wiring in the steering column. Maybe the master switch, that the key tumbler turns.
    Did you try your spare key? Try pushing in on the key when turning it. We had one member, that is what he had to do. I think he had to replace the switch, that the key turns.
    These are guesses from what remember over the years, on this site.
