01 ST Check Engine Light

Tryed to get it scanned at 2 different autozones. The scanner will not turn on. They say my outlet is bad or there is a blown fuse. The cig lighters do not work so im guessing its that. any help would be great!

Its the Fuse for the Lighter..



It is on the drivers side of the dash board.



fuse number 17. 20A.



it is the center one on the left side..



Page 161 and 162 of the owners manual.

My 01 has 2 Lighter outlets they both do not work, They havent worked since got the truck, My check engine light just recently came on. So im kind of sceptical of the fuse. I dont have an owners manual, anywhere online i can get an ebook or something?

The Fuse will make the Lighter work.. then the DATA port will work.



then you can get the CEL code and Clear it..

That helped a great deal. Error Code was PO401



EGR System Fault.



Goind to fix it this weekend =)
