Torch add-a-leaf kit and 3" body lift concerns on 20 year old Sport Trac

I have body lift and 5 inch ranger lift on mine with the 35s. I ran 32s when i was just body lift and torsion crank. Scrubbed at full lock. No spacers and wheels had -12 offset

    5 inch ranger lift.

Nah i keep my phone well away from my trucl when working on it. Have a bad habit of throwing stuff. Install was pretty straight forward though. Had to modify front diffs rear mount. Everything else for the front is pretty much direct fit.

Also your tow hooks will have to be removed but you can use chevy blazer/s10 tow hooks. Its what i use. Fit perfect.

Torch add-a-leaf kit and 3" body lift concerns on 20 year old Sport Trac

I have the body lift on my 04. The radiator gets lowered not raised. Everything lines back up pretty easy as long as you take your time. Also make sure you follow the instructions closely as several wires have to be loosened. The ac hose does need to be secured away from belt. I drilled 2 small...

    5 inch ranger lift.

Finally got around to installing my Rough Country Ranger lift. Happy with end results. Few little kinks i need to work out but no complaints so far. 8"-9" total lift with body lift and slight torsion crank. Running 35s with no rubbing at full lock

    Progress so far.

I've considered that. My hood is drilled with pins so I've also considered removing the latch and using the pins only.

    Progress so far.

Yeah thats actually where I bought mine from. If I had to do again though I probably wouldn't have bought it. Latch and hinge areas on the hood always worry me. If I am in a rush and let the hood open on its own I always hear the fiberglass stress cracking and that crap worries me..

    Progress so far.

Bought my trac a little less then a year ago. So far ive pulled the motor to do timing and gaskets. Replace all suspension and brakes minus leaf springs. Installed 3 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. Installed remote start. Upgraded audio and a few other things. So far so good. Happy...

    Remote Start Issues.

So I installed a remote stop on my 04 the other day. Got it working with no real issues but I can't seem to find a certain wire. Truck locks/unlocks and starts like its supposed to. However pressing the brake pedal doesn't deactivate the remote start like its supposed to. Also wasn't able to...

Fog light and bright light issues...

I've honestly stripped the whole harness in that area and can't find anything. Changed out all the bulbs last night with new ones and no change. I've read about people jumping the ground leg on the relay to have fogs and brights at the same time but I don't see where that's been done on this...

Fog light and bright light issues...

I purchased my 04 a few months back and the fogs didn't work. Found broke wire under air box that I repaired and got fogs working. But now whenever I engage my fogs it also turns on my bright lights. I've replaced , bulbs, light switch and multifunction switch. No changes. Any ideas?

    Hi all.

Actually decided against the body lift. Trimmed fenders to cut down on the scrubbing. Yeah I built my ranger because it was something different. Same reason I picked this Sport Trac. Love the smaller trucks. Just wish they had a better aftermarket availability in parts. A front diff drop kit...

    Hi all.

Slow and frustrating. Truck wasn't very well maintained by original owner. But im slowly getting it turned around. Dealing with lighting issues currently. Brights activating when I engage my fogs. No running lights at trailer connection unless I unhook brakes and turns. Small stuff just stomping me.

    LED Daylight running lights

I believe most people just splice them into their actually running lights. I have on a few vehicles and as long as you aren't overloading the circuit and seal your connections, you shouldn't have any issues

Can the factory bed cover latches be released manually?

As long as you can get the tailgate down you can reach in and manually pull the cables to release or you can use a flat head to pop each sides lock open by releasing the latch
