Rattling and growling while driving
Last night while I was driving the truck (V6) I had a couple of episodes where the truck started going slow. I heard a rattling sound, like marbles in a can, and a low pitched growl kind of noise. It stopped after about 10 seconds and ran and drove fine after that. Any ideas as to what was going...- clandress

Ball joints wear out early?
My 2007 V6 2WD sport trac has some play in the ball joints on the drivers side front. It has only 61,000 miles on it. Is this normal for these trucks? I have a quote for $550 to have them replaced and a wheel alignment. Should I use Ford ball joints or is there another brand that would be better?- clandress
