What are the pros & cons of a torison lift?

Alright guys I'm about to buy my ST! And I was wondering its going to be an 03 so can I get a bed off a 07? Will it work I don't really like the lllloooonnnngggg tail lights on the 01-05 but I really like the tail lights on the newer models. Thanks for yalls input.

I'm looking for the first gen. I see that! Haha nobody wants to give em up I've come across a lot of 2wd but I really need a 4wd cause of where I live. I'm usually on the Explorer forum and I like that one too.
