There is a rubber boot between the drivers door and body that wires pass through, I had a broken wire there that was keeping my switch from working, once I fixed it, no problems since.

    weird temp gauge issue

Would a stuck thermostat cause the engine to heat up that fast though? I am thinking the new temperature sensor may be faulty or the incorrect one. I bought the whole assembly as a kit housing, sensors, thermostat , all new together.

Did you check fuse 19, for the Pcm Power Diode, and fuse 24 for the starter relay, in the fuse box on the drivers side of the dash? Under the hood in the battery junction fuse box, check fuse 7 and fuse 11, also check the Pcm power relay and Pcm diode as well.

    CATS!!!!

There are a few members who run the RT y-pipe, with RT cat-pipe, which is a catless y-pipe and single cat pipe versus the 4 factory cats, plus the RT cat-pipe is 2.5" versus the necked down 2.25" of the factory cat-pipe.
