yup yup this happened to me, it fried the AWD module in the tranncky, but lucky me got that covered under warranty, but had to for the mechanic to soder the wires back, and braced the intake tube, hunk a junk!

I found more info in my owners manual, it says just like what Tom said, but they said that you can drive it in normal conditions and it won't wreak the AWD system, just that you will notice more noises, and clunking, but theres no hi or lo options.

They didn't have a message category in AWD so i chose 4x4 But, I was wondering what does the lock mode in AWD do? had AWD vehicles before and never had a lock option, but it says in the owners manual that the 4x4 light will pop on the dash, but doesn't quite make sense to me for a AWD...

Yeah I took it in today and like you said they said that it's normal, but I never noticed it when I was test driving because i never sat around in the truck in park while the truck was idling long enough to notice anything..

Just got my 2010 Sport trac adrenalin, with 1500kms on it, noticed when you let it the truck sit in park at idle, the engine vibrates, and you can feel it in the cab, like the whole trucks shaking, but in gear and neutral nothing, anyone have this issue? thanks
