So my wifes A/C Clutch has went bad, according to the mechanics. They said I have to replace the entire compressor, 395 just for teh part, or course this is crazy. My question is: Is there anyway to just take it out and repair it, or do I have to replace it?

Maybe a dumb question, but to replace my upper and lower ball joints, do I need to replace the control arms as well, or can I just by the parts seperate and put it on them..

So I went to the local shop today to get a simple alignment, well of course it wouldnt be that simple. They told me my upper and lower ball joints need to be replaced, that there was a 1/4 inch of play on my right side. so my $60 alignment turned $350. So I just left, going to see about getting...
