I have seen 3 Auto Zone batteries go "bad" because of the terminal holes (side terminals) wallowed or the bolts stripped. The battery was still good but you couldn't connect to it so it was not covered by warranty.

First; disconnect the battery, let it sit for 30 minutes, Crank it up to reset the computer according to the owner's manual. You never know. Sometimes it works. Good Luck and Merry Christmas !

Mine came that way from the factory (I bought it used) I loosened the bracket on the hood and shimmed under it with washers. Worked for me.
