    Hid warning harness

I have HIDs installed in mine, to get rid of the warning error, I installed 6ohm 50Watt resistors to both sides and both high and low beams, to simulate the bulb load. No more warning to check bulbs! Got them off ebay, they have heatsinks on them to keep cool.

    Gen 2 Oil Life Monitor

re: JJJake What the setting is for is the start value (being a percentage value of a 10,000km range) as the start point of the 100% range. So if you want to change it to 7500km, you set it to 75%, what that does is set the new range to be 75% of 10,000km, so the percentage range at...

    Gen 2 Oil Life Monitor

Actually it is true on Explorer Sport Tracs, I'm not sure on other Ford vehicles, maybe was some sort of test run on the ST and then decided later on other models to keep or toss. Yes, I am the OP of the post in the other forum, and yes its true, I even test it when I let the level go down and...

    electric locks

Install and after market keyless entry system that connects directly to the lock/unlock switchs on your door. You can use a remote starter or alarm system too, and even hook them up without the remote start or alarm if you only want the keyless entry system (Since rare to find an aftermarket...

    One button all windows down....

RE: TrainTrac This gives you one touch operation at the buttons/controls you have them tide into, IE:) hook 2 modules up right in the drivers door, each module does 2 windows up and down, so you will need 2 modules to do all 4 windows, and had them installed in the drivers door since ALL...

Dealership Drives Mans Mustang Into Pond

"The Driver for having a remote start installed in a manual car and remote installer shop for doing it... They are to blame... It is plain and STUPID to install a remote start in a manual car then have people work on it and not tell them Todd Z" There are remote starters made...

    4x4/4WD Module

Every 4x4 will feel "choppy" while in 4x4 while sharp turning - since when both front and rear axles are locked together in 4x4, when you turn the differential on the front while turning will be slighty different speed from the rear thus making both being "un-syncronized" and making that...

    2009 ST

Get the 4.6L V8! It pretty much gets the same mileage! (Depending on how heavy your foot is!) The v6 is 16/21mpg and the v8 is 16/20mpg You'll appreciate the more power when you need it! I love mine - check mine out sometime! I average about 21.4mpg on highways sometimes better if I...

HyperTech Max Energy vs. SCT SF3/Livewire

I've read online that the Hypertech programmer gives my ST 4.6L "29Hp and 32Ft.lbs torque" gain while the SCT pre-programmed gives me 11rwhp and 8ft.lbs of torque. Now would anyone know how much the custom tune will give me roughly? Better than Hypertechs? My 07 ST 4.6L V8 Limited 4x4...

    U-Haul Trailers

Now for Sport Trac owners, Ford should drop the "Explorer" badging or just rename it entirely! lol But I guess this isn't Ford's problem, this U-haul policy should have expired with the new current generation of explorers! Like c'mon now its been over 10 years I'm sure the improvements have...

    in-channel ventvisors

I guess you could add some sort of felt with an adhesive backing on the inside of the ventshade to protect the window further just in case lol My windows are like mint new and don't wanna risk scratching it all up from the rubbing!

    U-Haul Trailers

Is U-Haul still banning rental of trailers to Explorers? Even when the problem was solve that it was a Firestone tire problem and was corrected? Are the 2007+ Sport Tracs banned too? Even thou it has better towing and trailer sway control now so it would be rediculious for U-Haul ban these as...

    in-channel ventvisors

Since this ventshades are mounted in the inside of your window frame, do this shades now cover the felt that used to rub against the window at the top? Do these scratch up the windows at all since now the window is rubbing against the shade and not the felt? I really like the look of the...

    hid need]

What year is your ST? I have them on my 2007 ST, at first they did work but gave the "Check Headlight Bulb" message, and sometimes flickers because during DRL mode it pulsates to extend the life of the bulb. It can be fixed by adding a load resistor or a DRL/Flicker/Bulb Check Canceller inline...
