    Cleaning the rubber floor

I use simple green and a scrub brush. Then I wiped up with a wet rag a couple of times to get all the simple green up and then wiped up with dry rags until dry. I do this every spring.

The right way to tie your shoes,,,LOL

Thanks for the tip Bill. I have been doing the left over right in the first half as it was really hard for me to get used to changing the bow part. My round laces always loosened up before. Not anymore. Thanks again.

My wifes focus was doing the exact same thing and it was the IAC. It was shot. Replaced it and everything was good. If you don't find the problem maybe have another look at that.

    Condensation in Headlight

I had some in mine a while back. I think the heat from the lights being on dried it out and I never had it come back. Let it dry out and see what happens before you do anything. If it doesnt dry out or keeps coming back then you may have to do something.

    Distilled water

I would not go as far as to drink it. It should be mineral free, but for sure not germ and bacteria free.

    Distilled water

I was wondering if water taken from a dehumidifier could be used anywhere distilled water is called for? I would think it would be ok for batteries and steam irons and the like. Any thoughts?

Low, low prices: Target beats Wal-Mart...

I live near Appleton Wi. and the wal-mart stores around here are spotless, including their rest rooms. They have been that way for as long as I can remember. Its not only the wal-mart stores but all the big box stores, and we have just about all the chains there are. The Goodwill stores are...

    cell phone danger at airports

A retired cop friend of mine applied for a job with the TSA. He retired around 53 and was looking for some part time work. The airport here was looking for some part time help. He had to go through background checks and some very extensive testing. After he passed everything he was put on a...

    General Grabber

I put the HTS Grabbers on my 4x4 ST. I don't do any off-roading so I didn't need an AT tire. I went with the highway tire for the better ride. Also no road noise. Going on almost two years with them and very pleased so far. Here is a write up on them. The Grabber HTS is General Tires...

    Frequent flyer question

Thanks for the response guys. I too think it would be ok, but the wife and I decided to just go with a smaller carry on and not have the chance of any problems. We have connecting flights on different airlines and don't want to bother with checked luggage as we don't have to bring much. Oh ya...

    Frequent flyer question

Its been about 15years sense I have flown, and my question is about carry on luggage. I have a bag that measures 22x14x9 which meets the airlines limits. But the wheels on the bag add another 2 inches, so when the bag is standing on its wheels it is 24 inches high. Is this acceptable or not? I...

    Replacing Upper Control Arms

Two years ago I had the lower ball joints and the upper control arm assys. relaced by my ford dealer plus an alignment and road test for a total price of $797.40. If someone wants $1300 they are ripping your off big time. I probably could have it done cheaper if I shoped around. My advice is...

    How bad is the economy?

I think there a lot of jobs out there with little pay, or working for cash part time. The problem is there are very few jobs that will support a family. Some people are better off on welfare than a low paying job. There was a story in my area about a women on assistance who was trying to better...
