Is it the silver looking thing on the passanger side front? Looks almost like a three inch long bolt head. Is it treaded? Feels like it is sealed so I did not want to crank on it, without knowing. Also it is a 6 speed if that makes a differance.

There is no dipstick tube. The owners manual stats that also and only says to take it to a Dealership.

I was looking at the differant types of K&N cold air intakes. I am about to buy one for my 08 4.6 STA. I know a while ago Dingo suggested the metal tube, I was just wondering if there is a reason, other than looks.

I did not see a dial like that. I have an 08 (with a sun roof). The only way I know to turn on my dome light are the switches on the light, but I will double check when I get home. Thanks again.
