I had an issue months back with mine as well. I tried the "fix" by disconnecting the battery for about 30 min and let the computer reset. Knock on wood.....I haven't had any further issues with it.

His lying has pushed me to file a complaint with the BBB :fire:

Yeah, I just read his response and again he continues to lie.....he never told me about the wheel being loose until after they replaced the bearing. If my steering wheel was loose to begin with, it would have been the first item I would have wanted repaired.

I've never had any fueling issues with my truck....just some stations that have those vapor boots on them, I just place the end of the hose into my filler w/o pressing the boot up against the filler tube and pump the gas w/o any issues.

True.......that works too as long as I have the windows rolled up or I could just move the wheel to the passenger rear and not notice it anymore.

I had them replace the driver's side front wheel bearing. My only guess is they had the wheels turned to one side while working on replacing the bearing and the steering wheel was locked and they had trouble getting the key to turn back on with the wheels locked and over forced the steering...

And they charge an arm and a leg for this plastic stuff.

Yesterday I had my truck in a shop to get some work done on it. When the guy called me to tell me my truck was ready, he told me over the phone that my steering wheel was really loose. It wasn't that way when I dropped it off. He told me it was his tech that worked on my truck found it...

Thx Bill, but I don't know how I'd be able to squeeze the stuff between the wheel and the cover....it's pretty tight around the rim of the plastic cover and the wheel.
