Mine started the clicking/ticking from the passenger side of the motor compartment around 5k miles. I'm at about 11k now and finally made it back to the dealer. 3 hours into the service, they called to say new lifters/guides etc were on order for the next day to be installed. :o

Clicking started around 2500k miles. It's definitely relative to rpm speed. Vehicle delivered around 1/15/07 built in late December. Guess I'll pull some injector connectors tomorrow, it sounds like it's top end related.

Got an email from my dealer today.... The current rebate on the 2007 sport trac is $1500. They also have $1000 owner loyalty if you currently own a sport trac. It looks like the wait is paying off.
