I would but it already tells me everything the ScanGauge does with the in-car computer. I could still use it but am using a device called Range V8 that disables the 4 cylinder mode and that runs on the OBD2 port full time so why keep the scan gauge when I really dont use it and could sell it to...
I have a ScanGauge II I bought a year ago for my Sport Trac and used it and loved it but just got a new Silverado two months ago so have no real need for it now. Comes with the manuals and cord, all you will need is some double sided tape for mounting. I'm located in the Charleston, SC area for...
Here is my craigslist ad that I made. Sold my Sport Trac about a month ago and thought I would see if anybody on here would be interested. I am in the Charleston, SC area and would prefer a local pickup because I really don't feel like dealing with shipping/paypal/checks unless you REALLY want...
Well the day inevitably came. Bought our 2004 XLT in 2005 with a salvage title and 9,000 miles. It's now at 103,000 and had to say goodbye today. We sold it to somebody who really wanted it and could probably use it more than we could. It definitely did its job over the years and it was my first...
Second on what roamer said. My 04 vibrated badly between 55-80 and it quit after i took out the front driveshaft a few years ago. Sucks not to have 4wd but better than numb hands from the steering wheel.
First I'd like to say Happy Father's Day to all of the members on this board. I hope you all have a great day.
On to my problem, my Trac's windshield got egged Friday night late I'm sure by some "friends" that thought it was funny. It wasn't a big deal to me as at least they had the...
I took mine out so long ago i can't even remember the colors. Red is hot though, the other wire was negative. Can't remember if it was black or blue but that was negative
I hear a hissing sound coming from behind the A/C panel when the system is turned off. It goes away whenever I turn it to any one of the controls. Just deal with it or do I have a problem? Been going on for about a week. Heat and A/C both work fine just the noise is kind of annoying.

Mine is an alpine mono 500w. Supplies plenty of power. I have it only ran to the sub. I don't have an aftermarket head unit, i'm using the stock 6disc pioneer.
I'm using a JL Audio W1 10". It's a shallow mount, about 4.5" deep. It hits hard, it doesn't have as much power as an L7 but it hits hard enough for the cab space. I bought the box separate on eBay for $90, the sub for $125.
Replaced the thermostat and radiator cap this morning. Truck isn't running over 190 degrees. I'll check for leaks over the next few days. Thanks for all the help fellas
I've had to add coolant a few times over the past few weeks. I'm not one to neglect a car just haven't had time till now to look at the situation. Basically the coolant from the reservoir is not cycling through. How do I know this? Because I added a slightly different color from a radiator leak...
But its never gone over 207. I drove for 30 minutes with A/C on in 70 degree weather. It stayed at 198-200 the whole drive. It never cycled from The overflow resovoir but if the tstat was stuck wouldnt that cause the temp to shoot through the roof? I'm thinking what Gavin thought that it could...
What is the normal temp range for a full warmed up ST? Once its all the way warmed up it runs between 198-207 farenheit. Also is the coolant from the overflow resovior supposed to cycle through while driving? I filled it up and then drove 30 miles with A/C on and the temp hovered around 200. But...
