Hoping Santa will bring money for locking differential!

Been saving up for a while, birthday money, etc. Hope Santa finishes the job and I can get a locking differential for the sport trac. I had a Powertrax in the '93 ranger for years and I loved it. Had to replace the springs in it after about two years when it was acting up a bit. When I...

    Hard cover lubrication

Alright, the hard cover has been in storage all summer. Just put it on for winter and realized the locks, and the locking mechanisms on each corner, all were giving issues when I last used it. What's the proper way to lubricate them? I know you're not supposed to use oil on the locks. What...

Snowblower Shoes Skids Heavy Duty $30/set

Hi Everyone, I just lowered my price to $28.95, so I thought I'd update the posting. I custom make these for each person, based on the measurements they need. I guarentee that these will fit, otherwise money back. The key measurement is the distance between the two bolts that hold the...

    great Christmas Eve story

Would the movie be about his being home for 4 months or 4 months early? I'd say if he was home for 4 months before pulling the church stunt, there may be more of a story there.....

truck rolled back while in park

It could be that it wasn't in park all the way. Scared the daylights out of me because my wife and 3 year old son was shoveling snow somewhere behind the truck at the time. It's also possible given the snow and slush that the truck just slid on the driveway I guess. It was just slush though...

truck rolled back while in park

Just pulled in the driveway, put the truck in park, and started to get out. It started rolling backwards. Had to hop into the truck and slam on the brakes. Put the parking brake on, for safety. Anybody experience this, and if so what did you do to stop this? Thanks! --Bob

Christmas tree stand rated to 2000 lbs!

I've re-designed it for a lower profile. It's now able to accept over 135 pounds of weight on it to dog and cat-proof the christmas tree. Great gift for that animal lover in your life. I don't think this version will be able to support my sport trac, but I may try it if I sell a few. If so...

Christmas tree stand rated to 2000 lbs!

Hey everyone, I threw a xmas tree stand on ebay, it's closing this morning with only 1 bidder at $1. I'd rather sell to someone who at least appreciate the effort that went into it and the picture of the sport trac on it! It's item number 230195678211...

Christmas tree stand rated to 2000 lbs!

Yeah, maybe that will be a feature on next year's model! Seriously I wasn't sure it was going to be up to the task of all that weight. I very carefully lowered the jack, but it didnt' budge at all. The next time I did it (I had to get more pictures of this, this was fun!) I just let the jack...

Christmas tree stand rated to 2000 lbs!

Tired of the cheap plastic tree stand, I pulled out the welder and made a replacement. Actually I made a couple replacements, hopefully they'll sell on ebay and I'll have money for a christmas present for the 'trac this christmas! This one is strong enough to hold up the front end of my sport...

air silencer removed: best gas mileage yet!

A week ago I removed the air silencer from the air box. I also drilled a 1.5 inch hole about 1/2 way down on the fender side of the box just for good measure. My theory was that I wouldn't see or notice any appreciable change to the truck around town, execpt for maybe a slight difference in...

Anybody herculine or bedline the inside of a 'trac?

If you're spilling beer in the truck, the spill is the yeast of your problems.... heh heh

Anybody herculine or bedline the inside of a 'trac?

The last 2 times were sippee cups. Sippee cups do leak when left upside down and covered by a sweatshirt. Yes, they leak out completely, too. Especially when the lid has been partially loosened by little hands. These were minor spills, but well placed. They dripped from the back of the...
