Changed the oil today, and removing the filter something felt .......odd. After about three full turns of the filter it was off! The filter nipple that WAS screwed into the engine block was still in the filter......:o.Remember check your nipples:P

So on Thursday of this past week we had temps down to -20c (about -2f) Friday and today +23c (70f) Most of the province is worried, we have a snow pack 150% normal, and 50% of the population 3 metres below high water..............sweeet.

It would be interesting to see what years were the most prone to have this problem, which,if any , years were less prone. Just from the last few the 2001's seem to be mentioned .Not just the ST's use this motor. Must have showed up in other vehicles??
