I think the ease to get cash stopped the speculators in their tracks. It was said that 30% of the price of oil was due to spectulators. I know that the price of oil has dropped more than 30%. Was the estimate wrong ???? Terry

I will leave out any reference to MPH. I was averaging 16.5 MPG (using AC) before the Fitch and so far I am averaging 17.2 mpg. Thus the ~4.5% increase. I hope this clears up any confusion. I am sorry. Terry

Yes Bill -- 25.1 MPH avg per tank and .75 mpg increase. Having to drive 18.5 MPH at work, with alot of stop and go. kills me and my mpg. That is why I calculate my avg MPH per tank. The avg MPH is an indication of how you drive and maybe why there is a large difference between tank calculations...
