Cabrera, my 2006 Elantra had a set screw that held the rotor to the hub. That took me a while to remove. I still had to use a mallet on the rotor after I removed it.
Attempting to change the plugs today. Many of the boots that with on the wires are tough to remove especially #3. Any tips on pulling them off? I have a new set of live wires to reinstall
thanks
I've had the Reflex shocks on for 6 years now with only 45000 miles on them. They don't feel like they need replaced. But being this old, it may be time. Anyone have any thoughts on when to replace shocks?
thanks
Doug
I thought I had a ball joint problem. The noise kept getting worse. My mechanic told me it wasnt a suspension problem, we narrowed it down to brakes. I looked everything over and found that the caliper bracket was coming loose. Tightened it up and now no clunk
I just bought new ones from the dealer and it cost $360. These arent the ones listed in the link in this thread, they are the flat kind with the roilled lip to that makes them look like thiese ones. I like them alot. They are Titanium Grey with a black tread
Todd,
Thanks for the reply. I'm no expert, but its the part that has the threads on it that connects to the top of what I think is the ball joint (the rubber sealed part)
All,
I was backing out of a parking garage tonight and my right front tire caught a cement pole and bent the tire rod. I limped home. Is a tire rod easy to change? Any thoughts as to how to do it or is it better left to a professional?
Peace Out
Sonny,
I don't have 20s, but 18s I'm running 265/65/18 with stock suspension. Mine dont need spacers due to rubbing, but I have 2" on the rear and 1.25 on the front to widen the stance. Pics in my library

My '02 step bars are pretty rusted by now. I was looking to replace them and was curious to know if anyone knows if the '03-'04 oem step bars (the straight ones) will fit an '02 trac
thanks
I just put on 265/75/16s Geolander ATs yeserday. They are a good looking tire and I agree that they are very quiet despite the aggressive tread pattern on them
