i brought a 12 volt oil siphoning pump for around $25.00 off ebay and changed the fluids in the rear, transfer and front end with it. it takes a while to get all the oil out but i also used the siphoning pump to fill up the rear and front axles. real cheap way to do it. tom.

i was above the artic circle in alaska caribou hunting with no phone acess, tv or radio. it was like being on the moon. found out on friday by a bush pilot, thought it was a good april fools day joke when i realized it wasn't april. he later dropped off a paper. then it was surreal.

will the gas cap fit a 2001 trac, if so i am interested, tom.

also check the level of all 6 cells of the battery if it is not a maintenance free battery. if one of the lead cells is exposed then yur battery will not allow a juimp. add distilled water for a check fix. if it jumps then you will probably be ok. after you drive around and charge up the battery...

Todd the hjc is slightly tight, the fulmer is a little bit looser which i personally like better. tom.

104,000 miles and thats what i was thinking as the fluid was junk in transfer case. i think i will also go ahead and change the front axle fluid at the same time.thanks todd, tom.

todd hat size is 23 and a half which is a large according to hjc if that helps you. tom.

i changed the fluid in the transfer case and i questioned if i should change the rear axle fluid. i thought that you do not have to change the rear for life of vehicle unless there is a leak or other problems, any advice? also what about the front axle, should it be changed? thanks tom. oh by...

todd, the # 1 helmet by hjc in yellow/black is a large. the # 2 helmet by fulmer in r/w/b is probably a 1/2 size bigger. tom.

hey todd, #1 is a large and i believe that #2 is the same size, there is no sticker inside that i could see but it basically fit the same as #1. I will double check and get back to you as soon as i can. if you do buy one and you are not satisfied you can return it and just pay shipping. tom.
