My dads explorer is having the same problem. I did the voltage check to the harness and it looks ok. Im leaning more toward the fuel pump as well. Exact same symptoms.

You may be leaking refrigerant. Get one of those 14 dollar recharge kits from autozone and see if it comes back on. If it happens again you have a pretty good leak
