Mine work just fine. I used the supplied brackets because I bent the heck out of one of my OEM bars. They bolted right in perfectly.

It is the lock itself. Mine broke about 2 years ago. I found that there are plastic rivets, similar to screws that break.

Mine I can se either the clock or the station, pressing the clk button changes it.

I bought a seperate switch so that I can turn on when I want.

In my tarc that is a change collector since I don't smoke.
