You will need brackets to install the cover on your truck. You cannot install it on your truck without the brackets. They can be removed from the sellers truck. If the cover is in good condition and the brackets are included, it is an OK price.

I never heard of anybody modifying their remote unlock system to work with one push instead of two. What is it about pushing it twice that you don't like? Is it for time saving?

I've had my 2003 since new and while I still have it because I like it a lot, I wish the turning radius was smaller. It wouldn't stop me from buying one, though.... :driving:

Is there a way for you to put 12 volts directly to the mirror motor(s)? That way you will know if they are working and the problem is somewhere else. Maybe someone else will have another idea....

HI Larry...:welcome: Congratulations on your purchase! Mine does not beep when I unlock using the fob. And it doesn't beep when locking unless I push the lock button twice. I'm thinking this is related to the type of alarm you have.
