I think bugsiegel has hit on what I was thinking. It can be very loud & annoying. It also seems to hit when the wind is blowing & doesn't really matter which way it blows.

#1 The noise in the w/shield area is effected by wind direction, no wind no noise, with head wind or side wind noise like flute. #2 the noise from the rear is excessive road noise that transfers into the rear passenger area. All seals look good, doors are aligned, there was a body plug...

we recently bought our second ST after selling the first one. We needed to upgrade to pull our camper over 14 k elevation mountains so wanted a V8 plus tow pkg. The newer, 07, has a very loud low pitch road noise coming from rear of vehicle. To me it sounds like a musical instrument but I...

TX Jupton, we were finally able to talk with a 'live' body at oempartz this morning. they checked stock then advised they were out & Ford quit supplying them. He didn't know why Ford would have done it but they have. now our only hope would be to find a used one:cry:

since we haven't been successful in finding a Sport Trac bed mat with the 'Sport Trac' name on mat I am wondering if they made them to fit the '07'. We had one in our '03' so can anyone provide info as to whether they were being made still for second generation Sts?:banghead:

checked with Fast Parts however they do not have any. Our only hope is that perhaps somebody here may be parting out their ST & would consider selling their ST mat. Thanks for the help :online:

I have the part number however cannot locate a seller. Ford motor parts has it listed however none of the parts & service dealers have any available. :cry:

we recently purchased a 2007 V8 with tow pkg, sold our '03' to son& his wife. the '07' has a red flashing light on the lower dash below the steering wheel. We cannot figure out what it would be for. Any suggestions? TX, Millie & Marv :banghead:
