    Radiator Leak Questions

I have an 05 ST 4x4 with 163K miles and replaced the radiator already 3 times. The two previous leaks happens at lower driver side of the radiator between the core and plastic tank. Now my 3rd one is leaking again at exact location. Local 1-800-radiator replaced them twice before, but maybe this...

Hi Sport Trac Lovers, I have a rather weird happened to my temperature gauge today. The needle went up to H temp for about a second and went back down to normal reading and stayed there during a 30 mile commute. Then it happened again on the back. The engine did not overheat and stayed at...

    Should I???

IMO, don't trade your 01. Keep it since it is still in excellent shape. Try to haggle with your dealer and stay with the $19K OTD w/o trade in.

    Cold Air Intake

This question was probably asked by someone before, please pardon me for asking. Why is there not a cold air intake kits available for 2005 ST? They are only available for up to 2004 model, unless the 2004 fits 2005 ST. Is there any difference in design? Thanks in advance.

    Spark Plug

Thank you for all the response. I gapped the new plugs .055" just within the required specs as called for in the owners manual .052-.056. Yeah I hate to do things twice specially taking off the passenger side plugs. I thought there might be somebody out there that has used the same Autolite...

    Spark Plug

Greetings. Maybe someone can help me out here. I changed the original motorcraft spark plug when my 05 ST turned 100,000 miles. Now I have put 4,000 mile on the new Autolite Double Platinum APP103 plugs. I noticed a poor gas mileage and sometimes it hesitates on acceleration. I did not notice...

I just noticed the green LED light on my rear view mirror (05 ST) is not ON and the dimmer is not activated. Is this means I have to replace the mirror or is it just a fuse. :( Thanks

    5.0L Pushrod V8, or 4.6L Modular V8 Mustang?

TrainTrac, having owned and driven both 5.0L and 4.6L equipted Mustangs they are top notch engines. Having to pick which power to choose given the year model of the stang, I would pick the 95 Mustang. Having said that, the 5.0 is easy to work on and plenty of performance parts you can add later...

    Cruise Control

I called my tech at Mike Shad Ford and he confirmed it's the Speed Control Switch on top of the brake master cylinder. Picked one up at Ford, cost $25.50, replaced the old one and cruise works. Here's the picture. Hope you can read the part number. [Broken External Image]:

    Cruise Control

Good Friday to everyone, I hope your day is going great so far. I have a question if anyone has a problem of their cruise control other than the Ford recall. My 05 ST's cruise sometimes works and sometime doesn't, but most of the time it doesn't work. I turn the cruise ON and press the...

    front alignment issue

Based on the standard roadway design, roads are crown with 2% slopes and some have 3%. Alignment shops are familiar with this slopes unless the mechanic did not take into account of the % slopes deduction and set it at a 0% flat road, then the steering wheel will be off center to the left.

    Trailer Rental

Rented a car trailer last weekend to go to Birmingham towed by my RV, but returned the trailer with my sport trac and the U-haul manager unhooked the trailer w/o noticing it was an Explorer ST. So, I agree remove or place a masking tape over the Explorer badges.

    Rare Find - OIL

Sorry, I could not find a better topic but to place it in the Fluids category. It would be interesting in hearing what our representatives in Washington have to say on why this has not gotten any more attention than it has. Makes you wonder who is working for who. Heres what they find: :o...

    Can anyone confirm this?

I saw that article somewhere. I bought some .223 and 9mm from them at gun shows. Hopefully Georgia Arms will still get their spent cartridges from DOD.
