I have no problem with my mat and extender.

I have a wood chip/smoker box for my Weber gas grill that I got at Lowes. I think it works pretty good. As long as it fits between the flavor bars and the grill grates.

Instead of glueing,I just bought a universal mirror at Advanced Auto for now.It vibrates a little while driving but will work untill I get to the salvage yard to pick an OEM mirror. Thanks for your response,Mark

Cut a piece of foam rubber (whatever thickness you feel is needed) to fit and lay that between the lid and the tray. I had the same issue and that seemed to work pretty well. Markr
