    Build & Price a 2019 Ford Ranger

I just priced mine out. $45,700 for the Lariat, 501A option, FX4 suspension, tow package, tonneau, etc. Still driving my dad's old Orange Frost 2007 ST with 160k miles on it. Put a new Jasper engine in it at 132k miles and new front hubs, but that's about it. I'd likely add the Ranger to the...

    Gen2 Blower Motor stopped working

Thanks Vic! I ended up wiggling the wiring harnesses and connectors around the blower motor and it's been working ever since. I'll keep an eye on it and look into the module project if things get worse.

    Gen2 Blower Motor stopped working

Hi all. It's been years since I've been participating in the forum. Sadly, I come today to talk about a problem in my 2007 Gen 2. The blower was giving me heat without issue and then stopped working. I hit a bump and it cycled faster then slower. I am not getting any heat unless I'm moving...

Noisy front-end during very cold temps

Thanks for the reply. I had a similar problem with the connecting links on my rear stabilizer on my old 2001. I even thought about that being the case with my '07. However, in my case, even when it's wet, I get the noise and it's more of a thud (no squeek or rattle). It's like someone...

Noisy front-end during very cold temps

Gen2 V8 ST is almost 5 years old with 91k miles. During very cold weather, I noticed that it sounds like something in the front-end is rattling when I hit big bumps in the road. It's only during very cold weather and there is no feeling of this transmitted to the steering. It's just a lot of...

First oil change in the Adrenalin.... Wanna Punch Some one.... any one.....

It reminds me of my first oil change, Todd. And, it was just after the truck came out. Couldn't break the filter loose, and it was a Saturday, so tried Jiffy Lube. They refused to change it because the truck was so new, it wasn't in their database. 2 hours later, no problem.

    Anyone own an SKS?

This is a real nice invention for mounting optics. CenterFireSystems.com sells it with a 4x32 scope for $30.

    Anyone own an SKS?

I think it's a quality firearm. It requires you to practically stand on the trigger guard to reassemble. Compared to the AR15 which rattles due to looseness when you pick it up. Great drill weapon!

    Anyone own an SKS?

I have a Yugo. A friend sold it to me for a song. It was never fired. Took 2 days to de-cosmo the sucker, but it's accurate! [deleted unnecessary info] Your SKS is fine, do NOT butcher it up, please. :D

    weird happenings

You shouldn't have paid it off. Take out a loan using the car as collateral and all will be OK.

A good video about a Canadian couple's experience w/single payer healthcare

I should have clarified that this is at a retail pharmacy, not a hospital. Retail pharmacists in my area are now shopping for liability insurance. I'm curious - if the patient wants to sue the hospital pharmacy, is the pharmacist covered or does the hospital pharmacist get his/her own...

A good video about a Canadian couple's experience w/single payer healthcare

I have a few real-world examples that I'd like to share. My ex-wife had a disease that was eating her from the inside out. She got treatment for it under Blue Cross, insurance I had through my employer. While waiting for her to come out of the doctor's office one day, I talked with a guy in the...

Just picked the ST up. Works perfectly, now. Here's the actual damage: Electronic Blower Motor Speed Controller 6L2Z-19E624-A $66 Labor $161.50

    A/C fan won't turn off

Just took it to the dealer today since I didn't want to get into pulling the dash apart. They just called and said that the Electronic Blower Speed Controller is the culprit, which will cost me $256. I authorized it.

    A/C fan won't turn off

Yep, he's gotten help from the institute of the blind, but my step-mom is always trying to help him, so he really doesn't get much of a chance to do things on his own. Last time I was there, he could get up the stairs to the bathroom without any help. So, he's doing well as far as I'm...

Correct, none of this was intended to be a test, just an example of what I experienced. So, everyone, please disregard anything I said as worthy info.

    A/C fan won't turn off

Hey TrainTrac - He's done with all his physical therapy after the hip replacement in November and gets around with a cane. Unfortunately, his eyesight is completely gone and they can't repair it. Apparently, some time after the accident, he lost a lot of blood pressure either during the...

    radar detectors

I borrowed a friend's Sport Radar Gun and was surprised how well it worked to get speeds on vehicles passing my house. From .2 mile away, a quick pull of the trigger, and within milliseconds, I had their speed. It was accurate, as I had a friend drive and tell me his speed and the unit was...

    A/C fan won't turn off

OK, I tried swapping the relay, with the one next to it, labeled for towing battery charge, and had the same part number. The blower motor stayed on full blast with this relay. I think the problem is not the relay, unless there is another relay somewhere. Nothing else in the owner's manual...
