    Xcal2 for sale

If you have a different ECM code, you will have to get a new tune from someone like Torrie. Even if you have the same code, it may be worthwhile getting a tune from Torrie so he can customize it to your needs. The tunes I have installed are designed to make the transmission shift very firmly. If...

    Xcal2 for sale

Hi all! I'm putting my Xcal2 up for sale for $150 or best offer. It currently has three tunes on it for the Gen1 Sport trac with ecm code JCZ2. I returned my Trac to the stock programming, so the unit can be reprogrammed for other ecm codes. Drop me an email if you're interested.

Hey everybody. I've got my Xcal2 up for sale in the swap&sell section. I've returned the Trac to the stock program, so the Xcal can be reprogrammed for other ecm codes. Check it out.

The C-130 LAPES system was pretty cool too.

    Shock Question

The rears aren't so bad on the 01's. There's not as much emissions stuff in the way of the top mounts compared to later models.

I have Rancho RSX's on mine, and have had no issues with the Warrior shackles.

Ohhh, that didn't sound good at all...

Could be the steering stop rubbing if you had the wheel turn all the way.

Canadian International Auto Show (Ford posted on Facebook)

Ford had that slot car track at the Detroit show, too. No Ranger there either, but I'm not really surprised since it's an outgoing model.

    What happened to snow tires?

I picked up a set of Hankook all terrain tires this fall, and they handle the snow really well. I was rather disappointed this morning when the predicted 13" of snow didn't arrive, we only got 3" since the storm tracked a bit to the north of Buffalo.

    265/75/16

So far I've been impressed by the performance of the ATM's in the snow. Granted, I have less than 2,000 miles on them. They are a bit louder than the Michelin LTX M/S tires I replaced, and they seem to have a bit of tread walk at highway speeds, but the ATM's are quite a bit less expensive than...

Is a new Sport Trac possible?

    Opinions on my tire decision

I replaced my Michelin LTX M/S tires with the Dynapro ATM RF10's. The tires are louder than the Michelins, and the ride is a bit firmer. The tires seem to have a stiffer sidewall (not necessarily a bad thing). Snow traction is excellent with the RF10's, although they have less than 1k miles on...

    Detroit auto show

Ford's been using that design style in their European cars for a while now. The Focus and Fiesta are the first to get that design in the US.

No pics until I get home. The Volt was neat. The guy driving it stepped on the "gas" and it really took off.

I spent two hours at the Ford display this morning. Pretty cool stuff there. They have a mustang boss 302 on a chassis dyno inside the hall.
