    tires

There is a lot more to fit a tire on a wheel then the measured diameter, and tito has the right idea in thinking about width. The liability comes in because it isn't a stock tire size or recommended replacement size. Some shops will only install stock sizes because should something go...

    for you V8 Guys, watchout

Lemme put a V8 in that thing, JK.

    Interior Light Kit

Getting +12V from the power outlet with a relay triggered off the headlight circuit is how I'd wire it up, or just a separate switch if you don't mind that. The only problem with lighting up the interior is that it increases the glare on the windows and such, which can sometimes cause...

    Tire Pressure Monitor

Do they not make the -5's the same size as current, JK? If nothing else, a little less width or more offset should be safe, depending on how much clearance you've got to stuff on the inside.

    Strange Trac on E-Bay

If it is an early '07, then it wouldn't have a roll down rear window anyway.

    Best Band Clamps?

Just use regular exhaust clamps. Spending the money on T-clamps isn't worth it...unless you plan running your exhaust under 20+ psi of pressure.

    New bodystyle Chevy Camaro

Very possible. While full-on production isn't until March, limited production has already happened. Could be some big dealer or tuner or got their hands on one a bit early.

    Built Theresa a new PC.

Nothing too shabby there. I'm seriously considering building my next PC and many of the parts I was looking at are on that list, none of which I'm real familiar with, good to know they aren't total crap brands.

STA The way it should be

Sigh....brick walls are hard to talk to. Perhaps reading comprehension is a lost art, I dunno.

STA The way it should be

Heh, you know me JK, got all those scoops and wings and stickers and such on mah truck. Psy- Sure the Adrenalin may have "plenty of power" but it isn't any more then a regular Trac. Which is kinda the sticking point to many about "ricers". Stock performance with visual only upgrades...

STA The way it should be

Want to be technical? Fine, "ricer style". And for the record, I don't think the production is "ricer", and certainly not the concept. However, my the definition of the term, it could easily be considered so.

STA The way it should be

"Ricer" used to mean a vehicle that had the look of a high-performance car, but had little substance to back it up. But, I guess some twist the term around to mean anything that doesn't appeal to them and is designed more for the street is "ricer". Come to think of it, the standard...

    Aerospace Expectant

Maybe you mean "303 Protectant". Do a search and you'll find that it almost universally lauded for providing a good sheen and good cleaning capabilities. I've never used it, but it is supposed to dry to a more "natural" appearance then the over-glossy that is typical of Armor-All and some...

    Finally Ordering Wheels!

If you want them flush, you'll have to measure. It isn't too difficult, just measure from the rotor hat (the flat area between the lug studs) out to the vertical plane that is even with the wherever you want the wheel edge to be even with. Usually this is the inside edge of the fender, as...

    Finally Ordering Wheels!

XST- Usually you can get new bands to adapt the stock sensors to the wheels. Of course, if you get the wheels shipped mounted and balanced, you'll have to go somewhere and have them broken down, install the bands, then put it all back together. Not sure why the very specific tire size...

Is driving a privilege or a right?

Mike- You wanna rethink your statement? As defined by the Constitution, you have a right to bear arms, a right to vote, a right to freedom, but, if you should, I dunno, be convicted of a felony such as vehicular manslaughter, all of those rights are taken away. A right can be taken...

Is driving a privilege or a right?

Meh, it's kinda moot point. A privilege is a right. A right is a privilege. Perhaps the point is "is driving an inalienable right" that should be protected by the Constitution? To that, I say no, it isn't an inalienable right. Driving should be highly restricted and tested and...

    Intresting Video

Bring on the technology. I like living in a world where to average life expectancy is over 70 rather then 40. I like the idea that in the near future, most of the most devastating diseases and abnormalities that plaque millions of people and children will be a thing of the past. I'm...

    broken door handle

It isn't too bad. Drilling them out is pretty easy, and the clip that connects the metal rod to the latch is easy enough to unclip, but takes a bit of snaking to get it out the hole. I'm not sure how the new handle from Ford comes, with the metal rod and clip or not. Overall, it isn't...
