Are you feeling pulsing, if yes its definitely the abs, and its usually one of the front hubs needs replacement. I replaced both of mine on my 01 trac to fix the issue, after trying the abs sensor on the rearend.

If my memory serves me , you can cycle the key on with out starting which builds up fuel pump pressure,. You hear the pump initially each time you turn on the key , and say on the forth time you try to start. If it now starts right up that indicates its the fuel pump usually or its a good indicator.

You could move the front tires to the rear and rears to the front and see if the vibration moves or changes, as this is free if you can do it your self.

David, thanks for the Random Tech catalytic converter , it was exactly as you described. I just have to find a Random Tech y-pipe used and I'll be set, and if my 2001 exhaust system would ever rust out I can put the parts to use. Anyone know of a used y-pipe?????????

I just had this issue on a 4wd trac, I replaced both front hubs which has the sensors and it fixed the issue. The dealer couldn't determine which sensor was bad so I replaced both with Timken hubs. PS. I had already replaced the sensor on the rear end (pumpkin)
