Thanks to projects section.....steering column wiring fixed. Sport Trac board....4x4 back up and going - replaced 4x4cm from online store SilverState. 30 minutes total labor and $180 in parts - $200 saved estimted.

Strange finding.....my key has always been a tad loose in the ignition to the point my door does not chime sometimes when open. Just recently my 4x4 will not engage in this scenario. If I open my door and hold my key snug into the ignition and the door chimes and the 4x4 works like a champ...

I have an 2002 ST and I test the 4x4 every soa often since I don't use it much. Today I switched to 4 high and no click and no indicator light and no 4x4. I checked the fuses and they look ok. Can someone help? Thank you.-

Just bought a 2002 ST and was wondering if the keyless entry code can be found by removing the defrost grill and looking on the passenger side through the windshield? If so how do I remove the defrost grill?
