I just did all 4 Quick Struts, highly recommended.
I have towed our 5,000 lb 25' Tolman Jumbo Alaskan Skiff more than 3,000 miles with our 2007 V8 RWD. No issues at all.
I can report that this hitch performed flawlessly after towing our 5,000 lb trailer over 3,000 miles. No indication of cracking, bending, etc.

Use only Mercon V in the 5R55E transmission.
I had a similar issue, weak reverse, all other gears were fine.
I replaced the valve body with a Shift-Rite, now it works like new.
Good post, I replaced mine a fewyears ago. OEM ones were completely rusted out.
