I've had my '07 ST Limited just a couple of weeks now. For the most part I love it, but unless my wiring is bad there's a design flaw/feature that's making me a bit crazy, and I need to rant a little.

The switch for the rear electric window and the switch for the pedal height control are upside-down in a user-interface control sense.

To make the rear window go down, you press on the top of the switch (as you're looking at it). And vice versa... to raise the window, you press the bottom of the switch.

To lower the floor pedals, you push the top of the control switch. To raise the pedals, you push the bottom of the switch. Furthermore, the arrow labels on the switch are misleading; pushing the end with the down arrow makes the pedals go up! :banghead:

Over the past couple of weeks I have always got this wrong, to the point where I now hesitate and before pressing a switch I say to myself: What would I naturally do? Remember to do the exact opposite.

I don't have the same problem with the moonroof switch because the direction of the arrows matches the direction of motion. But the rear window and floor petal switches are driving me batty enough that I'm thinking about actually trying to turn them around the other way.

Ok, I just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening.

I know what you mean! My 2008 is the same way. When I first got it, I also thought this backwards, but I'm now used to it. I don't have the power pedals, so I only have one wacky switch to think about!

On my 2010 the radio button on the steering wheel moves the stations "up" on the Sync display when you press the bottom of the button, and "down" when you press the top. A very stupid design mistake.
