Good guess Chris, but mine's been empty since I've been chasing this major annoyance.

LOL Eddie, I said ONE. All good guesses, but none of those either. :banghead:

Extra nuts and bolts in the door panel...

My Grandfather found a bag of nails in his new '60 chevy...LOL

Gettin ancie, whats the answer....

Was the TIRE JACK and LUG WRENCH!!! Had them zip tied with foam and tape.

The jack is raised and tightened to the lug wrench, to hold it in the floor bracket.

If it slips the slightest amount, they will both rattle like crazy in their holding tabs.

Eddie, I know you use a bottle jack. Did you remove them and leave the extensions?

Only time I've removed them was for the rear shocks and more recently, the diffy cover.

I may have stopped some other rattles and noises since then. Unbelievable, kick me. :cheeky:

Shocked that door/tailgate strikers and tailgate pivots weren't mentioned.

Technically they're not interior parts, but their noises often travel into the cab.

Had a rattling noise in my wife's car a while back.. I needed a solution, no way I could go two years searching! Downloaded a free app on the iPhone called TONE. Basically, turn the radio up, bass to max, and go through the frequency range, until you find the one that sparks the vibration. Not sure it would have helped with a rattle like the tire jack, unless you have a great amplifier. Most other scenarios, it works well. Beats searching at highway speeds.
