Thanks for all the advice. I just know this is going to feel like being imprisoned in some damn hotel for a week. I'd much have the money to put toward a newer motorcycle or accessories for my existing one. I am not real happy about it, but perhaps they might have a clothing optional suntan deck I can spend a lot of time on?

I know I am going to come back with a hell of a sinus infection or some medication resistant infection all over my body. Hopefully the diareah won't be bad until I get home. I always get sick staying in a big hotel and at conferences.

Here is what I know so far:

Royal Caribbean

Probably western, but Eastern sounds better to me.

Leaving Ft Lauderdale

7-days.

Getting a balcony room on the side of the ship (not an inside view). It would be so worth it to be able to open the doors and air out the cabin for all the viruses and sickness on those damn boats. Fresh air is always a good thing, especially in hotels.

Air fare is outrageously expensive. May have to drive/ride with other people. That sucks too.

I don't drink much. Can I get some good stuff to smoke at the islands? What else can I do? Hope there is affordable internet access or I am really gonna be po'ed.

If that was meant to be sarcastically humorous--it was.

If that was a serious statement--then you're gonaa be REALLY po'ed.

That's nonsense. Stop drinking the koolaid.

Honestly--I suspect you're going to be miserable. Not because it can't/won't be enjoyable, but because you sound like you're going to be going in with such a negative predisposition. You sound very determined to have a bad time--and if you go into this (or any other) vacation with such an agenda, odds are you're going to succeed. But if you change that before you go, and honestly look for ways to enjoy yourself, you'll have a blast!

Not interested in cruises myself, but I do think I'd enjoy it much more than my normal Monday through Friday.

Hey- I told you I was looking forward to the clothing optional suntanning deck and the Jamaica stop!:banana::banana:

We went to Jamaica on our honeymoon. First thing our cab asked us was where we were going. The second was if we liked the Marley, lol. We politely declined the shady cab driver.:bwahaha:
